To start the year 2011 and this new semester, I would like to take this opportunity to clarify a few new changes to our membership registration system.
For Existing Members
In the past, all SPE-UTP-SC members have to renew their membership every semester for RM5, which lasts for 6 months. To synchronize our database with SPE International membership, we will now introduce annual membership renewal of RM7 per year for 12 months. Hence, all existing members are welcomed to renew your membership at SPE booth at Pocket D foyer, 7-10 February 2011.
For New Members
New members of SPE-UTP-SC can register for RM8/ year for 12 months at Pocket D foyer, 7-10 February 2011.
Important Announcement!
RM1 will be discounted from the fees for those who wear blue shirts during registration regardless for new or renew members
It has also come to my attention that there is some confusion between membership for SPE International and SPE-UTP-SC. To clarify this matter, once you register with SPE-UTP-SC, you will automatically qualify as a member of SPE International. However, if some of you have already been a member of SPE International, we advise you to still register with SPE-UTP-SC so that we can include you in our database and notify you of future events and privileges exclusively for our members.
Among the benefits of being SPE-UTP-SC members:
· Receive notification of SPE Gus Archie scholarships and SPE Star Scholarships and Fellowships
· Receive notification of paper submission for journals and conferences
· Being updated with latest SPE-UTP-SC events and activities
· Enjoy free or subsidized registration fee for SPE-UTP-SC activities
· Enjoy early registration window over non-members for SPE-UTP-SC educational visits
· For new members who register and existing members who renew their membership now, you get to enjoy free copy of How the Industry Works 2010 and a free SPE-UTP-SC folder.
Come and visit SPE-UTP-SC booth at Pocket D foyer, 7-10 February 2011.
