29 September 2009 - Evening
It has been a long ride from UTP to UTM, approximately 8 hours. It was a nice feeling to relieve ourselves by visiting some attractive places in Johor Bharu as a start.
Under the beautifully lit Dataran Johor where we have our dinner!
We enjoy a stroll at the breezy Danga Bay, where Singapore is just stone's throw away.
30th September 2009
Today is officially the first day of Sci-Tech Fair 2009. It is an activities-filled day, such as exhibitions and technical talks. We are excited to meet many high profile figures in oil and gas industries too.

For the night, we went to Angsana Shopping Complex to free our minds from the eventful colloquium. It was a good opportunity to feel the shopping atmosphere in the vibrant city of Johor Bharu.

After two days of colloquium and various other activities, we bid farewell to this beneficial event. It has been wondrous to be part of the inaugural Sci-Tech Fair, and not to mention the places we visit in Johor Bharu.

Of course it is not an easy task for our department to organize this trip, but we feel that it is something we have to do since it provides countless benefits to those involved in it.
