Southeast Asia SPE Student Chapter Conference (SASC'11) is a program first organized together by SPE-UTP-SC (Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS), SPE-UCSI (Universiti College Sedaya International) and SPE-UTM (Univerisiti Teknologi Malaysia). SASC'11 is an international event where there are students from other SPE student chapters being invited to participate in the conference. SASC'11 aims to establish the network between SPE student chapters in Southeast Asia region, and act as a medium for exchanging information regarding the Oil and Gas Industry.

The event will be held on 

Date : 25 and 26 November 2011 (Friday and Saturday)

Venue : Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Johor, Malaysia.

The Jobscope of each department will be as follows :

1. Sponsorship

• Prepare list of companies to be approached
• Prepare prospector and proposal for sponsorship
• Deal with financial controller for the budget of this event

2. Programme and Protocol

• Prepare Programme tentative together with contingency plan (for emergence happens)
• Find the VIPs of the event: invite the officiator for the opening
• Find MCs( formal & informal)
• Find welcoming person
• Conduct and plan the opening ceremony, closing ceremony, uniting dinner and Mersing charity Day in details
• Prepare foreword speech
• Contact speakers for Technical Talks and Career Talks
• Specified the timeline of each programme
• Arrange the name cards especially for uniting night, opening & closing ceremony

3. Multimedia and Publication

• Design and survey prices for banner, poster, bunting, invitation card,flyers, booklet, brochure, t-shirt and name tags
• Prepare montage (if needed do it for sponsorship as well)
• Create short video for publicity purpose
• Prepare montage for opening and closing ceremony, Uniting Dinner
• Photo taking

4. Publicity

• Invite all Asia-Pacific SPE SCs to come
• Deal with logistic dept. for their welfare
• Publicize the exhibition, try to find audiences especially non-related-PE course.
